...something completely unexpected happens.

I am in Los Angeles at the moment...a welcome break from Michigan. Here, the weather is in the 50's. When I left Michigan early this morning, there was freezing rain, thunder storms, hail, and three inches of snow to fall (after my departure, thank goodness!). I could grow to like it here.

Why am I in Los Angeles? I was invited to talk about my personal experience with having herpes.

Why me?

Well, I wrote a letter some time back, in response to a question I had seen online asking people if they would be willing to discuss their experience with having an STD on national television. As it turns out, the show that is being taped tomorrow is about STD's, educating others, and hopefully letting those out there who happen to watch the show who have had an STD know that they are not alone.

I will write more about the show and what happens on it later. I have some research to go over, and want to get out for a look at the palm trees.
